JAVA MINI OVERLAND

Day 1:
After arrival in Yogyakarta you will visit the Sultan's Palace, where the Sultan's family still lives. On the way to the Bodobodur temple you will have the opportunity to watch traditional batik making. Borobodur is among the biggest buddhist tempels in the world and was built in 8th century. Overnight in Yogyakarta.

Day 2:
Fullday excursion to Dieng Plateau, where you can still find active craters with hot springs. Also there are some of the oldest Hindu-Tempels of Java. The mystic lake will fullfill the picture of nature and culture. Overnight in Yogyakarta.  

Day 3:
After breakfast you will leave Yogyakarta for visiting the most beautiful Hindu-Tempel of Indonesia, Prambanan. This temple finds itself between picturesque villages and green ricefields. Afterwards visit of the Sultan's Palace, them musuem and the market. Overnight in Solo.

Horseride on Mt. Bromo

 Day 4:
Drive towards Mt. Bromo. On the way you will ever so often stop at nice markets or small tempels. Arrival at the hotel in the late afternoon. Take the opportunity for a walk in the fresh mountain air.

Day 5:
Before sunrise you will be driven to the edge of the crater of Mt. Bromo. Take a warm jacket with you - it can be cold, even in Asia. Enjoy the sunrise in 2700 m above sea level and walk to the very edge of the crater (you can also hire a horse for that). After that very ecxiting excursion you will have breakfast at hotel and drive to Surabaya.
