Day 2:The Mother Temple Tour (8 hours) After breakfast travel directly to Batubulan for a stunning Barong & Kris dance. Proceed to the Elephant Cave, part of a monastery dating back to the 9th Century, Gunung Kawi , an ancient tomb carved out of a huge rock face and Tirta Empul (holy spring temple), back to 11th century. |

From Tampaksiring the road climbs up to Kintamani district,
with its magnificent views of volcanic Mount and Lake Batur. Return via Kehen Temple at Bangli , a beautifully terraced 14th century temple. Lunch at local restaurant at own cost. |
